To be fair, Karin Slaughter is one of our favorites! I had eight book clubs reading different books from her at the same time this year!
This one, like so many of her others grabbed me by the throat from the first chapter. Will Trent and Sara Linton are also some all-time favorite characters. They are flawed in ways we can all relate to. The kicker in this book was a bit expected but also caught me off guard because that's how Karin intends it... always. When people say "Oh, I figured it out from the beginning." I seriously want to break out the four letter L-word and straight up call them a LIAR.
